Copyright
The site, together with the information and documents that it contains (texts, images, photographs, etc.), is published under an open-access model under Creative Commons License Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode) unless stated otherwise. In some cases individual resources (images, videos etc.) may have a different license attached to it. Specific license information for each individual resource is mentioned on the metadata page for each resource.
Users are free to:
- Share – copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the material
for any purpose, even commercially.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as the user follows the license terms.
Under the following terms:
- Attribution – The user appropriates credit, provides a link to the license, and indicates if changes were made. The user may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

Authors retain copyright and grant Melusina right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication on this website.
Users are allowed to annotate and to enrich publications with supplementary content such as text comments, images etc. Users are solely responsible for their use of material provided on the site and have to make sure that they have the right to present this content on the platform in case they are not the creators of this content. Content provided by users in terms of annotations or enrichment of existing publications will also be licensed with CC-BY-SA 4.0 used by the platform. If this is not possible due to copyright issues copyright information have to be attached to the annotation or enrichment, if possible in the associated metadata field or otherwise in form of a copyright statement.
Content provided by Melusina is not necessarily comprehensive, exhaustive, accurate or up to date. If, despite our best efforts, errors were to be found, Melusina may not be held responsible. Melusina would nevertheless appreciate being informed of any such errors.
My publications
If users acquire a user account that has the role of an administrator, editor, project creator or marketeer users will have the permission to access and modify one or more publications via the administration section.
Users may use the “administration” section to:
- consult publications created by our own researchers;
- consult publications created and published by other users;
- create, manage and publish your own publications.
Users are solely responsible for their publications and for the material which they insert into the publications they are assigned to, whether or not they are public.
Users undertake to contribute in a respectful and thoughtful way. They undertake to respect the work of other Users. Their contributions must be constructive and relevant. The violation against this behaviour may lead to the deletion of the contribution and/or an account. Where appropriate, Melusina reserves the right to remove public publications after a certain duration or if it considers this to be necessary for any reason.
Applicable law and attribution of jurisdiction
Luxembourg law is applicable and the courts of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute regarding this site.

Terms and conditions for saving, accessing and using personal and collaborative spaces
By accepting these terms and conditions, users undertake:
- to create a secure password, consisting of 8 characters at least, including numbers, small-case letters and upper-case letters
- not to disclose the unique login and password that are created for you on registration;
- to disclose/make available documents/protected works only if you hold the intellectual property rights for this material/if you are the owner of this material;

- By submitting their works for publication on this website, authors accept the following terms of publication:
- The author(s) warrant(s) that the work being published is his/her/their original work, and that he/she has secured any necessary permission to publish, quote, or include any images or other materials that come from sources outside the article.
- The author(s) add(s) any necessary metadata to the publication as a whole as well as to its parts and elements. It should include information about the license, names of contributors, date and place of publications as well as other information that may vary from resource type to resource type.
- The author(s) grant(s) Melusina permission to publish and use his/her/their name, institutional affiliation, email address, an image of the author(s) and the biographical details he/she has/they have sent when registering to this website, in connection with the publication of the work.
